August 2009
For the entire month of August, I will have my photographs exhibited at The Front Street Coffeehouse on Front Street in Salem, MA. Front Street Coffeehouse is a great part of the art community in Salem. There is always art from local artists on the wall. Stop by for the best coffee and tea drinks in Salem and. They also serve wonderful sandwiches too.

Also in August is the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival. This year it is on Saturday August 15 from 10:45 am - 7 pm and August 16 from noon - 6 pm. I will be there shooting for the 3rd year in a row as the official event photographer. Check out the schedule at their website - www.SalemJazzSoul.com.

I've just added an on-line store for purchasing greeting cards, posters, framed prints and more. The store is hosted by RedBubble.com. Please take a look and don't forget to check back often as I add more content.

August 2008
I am having a photo exhibit at Old Town Hall in Salem, MA on August 9th and 10th. The title of the exhibit is "Freeze Frame: Shake, Rattle and Roll". This will be a show of all my music photography. Mostly from around Salem, Boston and surrounding areas. August 9th and 10th will be great days to be in Salem since the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival will be putting on the last of its pre-festival shows. The first on at Old Town Hall at 5:00 pm on the 9th (right after my exhibit) and the second on the 10th at the Essex Street Fountain Place where the Boston Horns will be playing.

Photos from the exhibit and CDs of some of the bands will be available at the Experimental Art Gallery and Studio on Artists Row which is directly across from Old Town Hall.

As a musician I love to photograph artists at work. I have a feel for when the moment is right. When someone is at their most expressive. I've been working with the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival since it's inception in 2007. It's been a pleasure to work with artists like The Boston Horns, Barrence Whitfield, Los Sugar Kings, Catfish Lucy, Fats Hammond and many others during this time as the festival's official photographer. I've also been fortunate to work with The Doom Buggies (Metronome cover - March 2008) and Corolla DeVille (The Noise - feature article - December 2007).

I also love to work with musicians to get the right feel for their album covers and promotional shots. I've had the pleasure of working with Terri Lee on her latest album cover. I also have several shots on The Boston Horns latest CD. Very shortly I will be working with Corolla DeVille on a photo shoot for their new CD. I can help you create the right mood for your work.
